Applications
These sturdy economical panel filters are used for general air filtration in all types of cooling, heating, and ventilation systems. The AmerGlas Box filters are designed for lighter dust loading conditions in all types of light industrial, commercial, and institutional applications. This filter is suitable for use in heavy dust loading applications. The AmerGlas Box filters are also excellent prefilters for higher efficiency filters.
Construction
The filter media in these panel filters consists of continuous filament glass fibres, constructed with progressive density. The air entering side has an open weave fibre pattern with larger diameter fibres. The fibre diameter becomes smaller and the weave becomes progressively tighter from the air entering to the air leaving side, allowing dirt to penetrate deep into the media.
To ensure complete filter rigidity, the filter pad is held in place by an open mesh net on the air entering and air leaving sides, and is housed in a sturdy die-cut box.
Fully Incinerable
Both types of filters can be disposed of in a municipal incinerator.
